That was an amazing listen. Sadly, I agree that US policy makers will have a tough time navigating. When I was at MIT a few years ago at business school, I took a few classes at Harvard Kennedy School and there were like a good chunk of the American class that straight up had "America bad" ideology. They were mostly democrats, so this ideology will live with us for some time.
